Crucyble, LLC ("Crucyble," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit crucyble.com, contact us, or sign up for our newsletter, how we use it, and the choices you have.
This policy covers our website and marketing activities only. When we deliver security consulting services to a client, any data we handle as part of that engagement is governed by the agreement with that client, not by this page.
Who we are
Crucyble, LLC is an information security consulting firm based in Menlo Park, California. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, contact us at [email protected] or (650) 800-3026.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit our contact form or newsletter signup, we collect the details you provide, which may include your name, work email, company, role, the service you're interested in, your timeline, and any message you write. If you check the newsletter box, we record that you opted in.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, we collect limited technical and usage information: the pages you view, the site or link that referred you, campaign parameters (such as UTM tags) when present, and general device and browser details. For inquiries, we also record the page and call-to-action you came from and the time you submitted, so we can route your request and understand which content is useful.
What we don't do. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics, so we don't set advertising or tracking cookies, we don't build advertising profiles, and we don't sell or rent your information.
How we use your information
We use the information to respond to your inquiry and connect you with the right person, to send you our newsletter if you opted in, to operate and improve the website, to understand which pages and campaigns generate interest, and to protect the site against spam, fraud, and abuse.
How we share your information
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and respond to you, and who are permitted to use it only for that purpose:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery, and form-submission handling.
- Notion — secure storage of inquiries and newsletter signups.
- Plausible Analytics — privacy-focused, cookieless website analytics.
We may add email or customer-relationship tools as our process matures and will update this policy accordingly. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
Newsletter and marketing
You only receive our newsletter if you explicitly opt in. We use it to share occasional updates on AI security and cloud risk. When we begin sending newsletters, every email will include a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time by contacting [email protected].
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain a record of our communications, and newsletter information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Aggregated analytics that don't identify you may be kept longer.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond as required by applicable law.
California residents. If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
EEA/UK visitors. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Where we rely on consent (for the newsletter), you can withdraw it at any time.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The website is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
